The next five years

Excellent to see the Labour’s pledges set out in Nottingham today. On the New Statesman blog is my take the argument Labour can make and win about the changes we need over the next five years. And as I have argued elsewhere, part of that change has to be a new style of politics and organisation in the Labour party.

At the beginning of last week, John Prescott and I wrote about a new organisation – Local Action Network – set-up to train and inspire more people within the Labour movement to step in to the world of civic enterprise. Will Straw was kind enough to write about it too. Let me know what you think.
